My story

Hello There! My name is Sugar, I'm around 6 years young and around 9 pounds.  I lost my eye in a tussle with a bigger dog who just was playing a bit too rough for me. I'm just a little gal! But that doesn't slow me down at all! I like dogs, people, respectful kids and cats too!  I like walks and I am a social gal that likes to go out on the town with you! Lunch with friends? I'm there with you! A stop at the wine bar or outdoor market? I'm your gal!  Seriously, I am really just the best gal. Super easy on leash, I sleep well, and I like to snuggle too.  I like car rides and adventures! I'm kinda perfect.  I live with other dogs my size at my foster's home and I also have lived with a cat and bigger dogs too.  I'm housetrained as well! I'm getting a dental soon, so I can be all ready to for my new home with a beautiful smile! If you are looking for the best small dog companion, look no further! Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $290.  Sugar is being fostered in SE Portland. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog  . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually or in person.
