Meet Scruffy – Your Second Chance at a Best Friend Did you ever just need one person to believe in you? Scruffy does. This sweet, soulful boy has been overlooked too many times, and now he's urgently searching for a home. After his foster became disabled, Scruffy was moved to an animal control facility in North Carolina where he is no longer safe. What he needs now is someone willing to give him a shot at happily ever after. Scruffy is around 6 years old and just under 70 pounds. Scruffy is neutered and UTD on vetting. He’s a kind-hearted pup with a spunky spirit—he loves walks, car rides, snuggles, and simply being around people. He’s house-trained, walks well on a harness and leash, and gets along great with female or older dogs. (Sorry—no cats for this guy.) Scruffy would do best with children 10 years and older. The scars on his skin are from a long-untreated infection, but with care and love, his coat is slowly growing back. He’s been through a lot, but he still greets the world with hope in his heart.
