My story

Hi there! I’m Electra — and if you’re looking for a best friend with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging, you’ve just found her. I’m a little over 2 years old, and while my life didn’t start out with the kindness I deserved, things are looking up now that I’ve landed at Pets Lifeline. The wonderful folks here saw past my rough start and quickly discovered what I’ve known all along — I’m sweet, smart, silly, and ready to love with my whole being. Let’s talk hobbies: I love people (all of them), I adore other animals (especially if they like to play), and I have a serious obsession with tennis balls. Seriously, give me a tennis ball and I’ll show you a whole routine — including the part where I gleefully shred it to bits. It’s my art. Sometimes when I see another animal, I get a little loud — not because I’m mean or scared — just because I get so excited to make a new friend. Once I get to say hello, I calm down and settle in. I also learn quickly and love to work on new cues. Training? Let’s go! I’m eager to please and love having a job to do. What I’m looking for is someone adventurous, kind, and active — someone who wants a dog to go places with, not just sit on the sidelines. Whether it’s hiking, road-tripping, or chasing tennis balls in the park, I want to be right by your side. So, what do you say? Are we meant to be?
