My story

A sweet, gentle, blind girl. She enjoys easy walks and playing with toys that have a sound such as a squeaky toy or a bouncing ball. Vivi came to our shelter with very diseased and painful eyes.  Thankfully the shelter was able to get her eyes removed and our sweet girl is so happy to have that pain behind her.  We believe she has been blind for some time, because she maneuvers quite easily and `maps` new areas quickly.We were hesitant to introduce her to other dogs, but through a barrier, she showed us that she really wanted to participate in our playgroups!  She seemed quite comfortable hanging out with her canine pals, and was easily able to find the humans in the pen to say hi to them too.  She immediately started `mapping` the yard to get her bearings.  You can see her in action here:She`s currently sharing her shelter suite with a canine friend she met at the shelter.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match! To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
