Estimated Birthday 02-27-2025 Okay to live in a home with... KidsDogsCats Physical Description Lance is a grey-brown tabby with a white belly and paws. He has expressive ears and his golden brown eyes are filled with love and mischief. Personality Lance is very loving. He seeks out laptime and enjoys being petted. He's very playful and enjoys wrestling with his cat housemates. His favorite toys include crinkle balls and feathers on the end of a string or wire. He's made fast friends with the forever kitties in his foster home and will likely do well in a home with other cats. Lance has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), which means that his body has less immune defense against infections that a non FIV + animal would have. FIV cats, however, have been demonstrated to live long and happy lives with good care. It will be important for Lance to be an indoor only cat with regular veterinary care. Please let us know if you'd like more information about Lance or about FIV please let us know! It is possible that Lance is testing positive due to the presence of maternal antibodies and we do plan to retest him at 6 months but for now, we are treating him as an FIV + case.
