Kevin is a 4–5-year-old gentle giant with a heart of gold. Likely a yellow lab mix, he’s the kind of dog who turns strangers into friends and makes any house feel like home. After losing his beloved owner, Kevin is ready to find his forever family—one that wants a loyal companion to share everyday life with. Kevin’s top priority? Being with his people. Whatever you're doing around the house, he’ll find a cozy spot nearby to curl up and keep you company. He’s an affectionate guy who loves cuddles. While Kevin isn’t a high-energy pup, he enjoys bursts of play throughout the day, and he LOVES his walks. He takes his sniffing duties very seriously and likes to take his time exploring the world with his nose. He’s not particularly food motivated (so he won’t beg at the table), but he is motivated by love and connection. He gets along well with kids, cats, and some other dogs. His ideal home would be one where he can be part of the family routine, soak up all the affection, and go for regular walks where he can smell every blade of grass. Check out Kevin's TikTok page here to see him living his foster-dog life. If you’re looking for a steady, loving, deeply loyal family dog, come meet Kevin.  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
