Just a year old herself, we believe she was once someone’s pet — until pregnancy, abandonment, or life outside changed her world completely. Now safe and loved, Vanille is slowly learning that people can be kind again. She’s incredibly shy and prefers the safety of quiet spaces, usually retreating under the bed after meals or litter box visits. But with time and patience, she’s shown us her soft side — rubbing against our legs, accepting gentle pets, and meowing softly when her food or water bowls are empty. She’s not the type to demand affection, and she may never be a lap cat.
