My story

Once upon a time, two horse loving friends were enjoying some down time at, wouldn't you know it, a horse competition. Much to their surprise, out of the corner of their eye, what did they see? A tiny kitten, cute as can be! And such begins our story of silly Filly and her sister Whinny. What started as any other horse competition, quickly became a kitten saving mission for our Operations Director, Katie and her friend, Carolyn. And by the end of the horse show they were able to successfully catch two of these stray kittens. Filly and her sister may have been a little scared at first - heck they were used to life in the rural country and now they were coming to the city in an airconditioned home. But it didn't take them long at all to fall in love with a consistent meal, naps on a cozy couch and human interaction! Filly is the wild child of this duo. She is all about play time. She loves wand toys especially if they involve feathers and long strings. Once she's finally worn herself out, you can earn this girls love with belly scratches and pretty soon you'll get her purring louder than any kitten we've heard. Filly does love playing with her sister too, which is why we do want to find her a home that has a feline playmate for her as well.
