What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? Closed doors. Lack of attention. Insufficient climbing surfaces. Not enough wrestling. Basically, everything. Meet Gilbert Grape, a gray and white medium-haired kitten with movie star looks and main character energy. He’s charismatic, confident, and just a little bit dramatic—which is how he got his name in the first place. Gilbert is the ringleader of his siblings and the first to attempt daring escapes from the kitten room (you might say he’s grape at finding exits). He’ll meow passionately about the injustices of closed doors and demand your attention like he’s running for mayor of the living room. Despite his big personality, Gilbert is a total sweetheart. He’s great with strangers, loves being held and carried (especially if you give him a tour of the house), and will charm his way right into your arms—and your snack bag. He’s also a high-energy player who needs a young, playful kitty friend in his forever home. No solo acts here—Gilbert does best with a partner to wrestle, zoom, and conspire with.
