My story

Hi there – I’m Rocco! I’m a 5-year-old pup with a heart as big as my energy level (and trust me, that’s saying something). Life’s been a bit of a ride lately. My previous family loved me, but they realized I needed more – more adventures, more fetch time, more zoomies – more life! So here I am, looking for my next chapter with someone who’s ready to keep up. I’m what they call a Ball of Energy – I love to run, jump, chase toys (especially balls!), and explore the world. If you’re into running or hiking, you just found your new trail buddy. Got a fenced yard? Even better – more room to play fetch, which just might be my favorite thing ever. I’ll be honest – I’m kind of an attention hog. I love my people and want to be around them as much as possible. If you’ve got love to give, I’ll return it tenfold (and maybe with a toy in my mouth). I’m also sensitive and sweet, so I do best with gentle, patient people who can help guide me with kindness. I’m house-trained, pretty smart, and I learn fast when you’ve got treats or toys to motivate me. I still need some work on my leash manners – sometimes I forget how strong I am – but with consistency and maybe a few snacks, I’ll get there. I do best with an experienced household! One thing to note: I’m a strong chewer, so I’ll need plenty of durable toys to keep me busy. Also, since I’ve got a big heart and big energy, my adoption will require multiple visits to make sure we’re the perfect match – but I promise I’m worth it.
