My story

My name is Pam and I am a brown tabby domestic shorthair. I am a spayed female and I am 2 months old. I was transferred here from another shelter/rescue through the Ames Animal Shelter`s Third Chance program on 06/15/2025 I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men, women, and children. I can be good with other cats and I can be good with dogs. My foster family said: `Pam is a sweet, energetic, and playful kitten. She always on the go, curious about everything around her. She loves people and being the center of attention. Affectionate and friendly, Pam enjoys being around people and will bring loads of warmth and a loving personality to whoeveradopts her.`
