JIM

My story

My name is Jim and I am a brown tabby & white domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 2 months old. I was transferred here from another shelter/rescue through the Ames Animal Shelter`s Third Chance program on 06/15/2025. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with children, men, and women. I can be good with other cats and I can be good with dogs. My foster family said: `Jim is a sweet and loving kitten with the perfect mix of curiosity and confidence. Very outgoing, he has an easy going attitude, alway ready to explore or just flop down beside you for pets and attention. With a bright personality, Jim brings a lot of joy and love wherever he goes.`
