My story

If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Adoptions are closed until 8/18/25 as our coordinator is unavailable. You may still submit applications, and they will be reviewed starting Monday afternoon, 1/18. Thank you for understanding Meet Spud the Speed Ant! Spud and his brother Ant Tonio were found as strays, made a stop at the shelter, and then came to us to start their new chapter. Now neutered and safe, Spud is ready to find a home of his own.   This outgoing little guy loves to cuddle and is currently learning his leash and house manners. He’s not the biggest fan of crate time just yet, but he’s improving! He’s been known to rub his nose on the crate door, which caused a little hair loss—but don’t worry, it’s already growing back.   Spud does great in small dog playgroups but tends to feel overwhelmed around large dogs. Because of his sensitivity, we’re recommending a home with teenage kids or older.   If you’re looking for a snuggly pup with a playful heart and a little mischief in his step, Spud the Speed Ant might just be your perfect match.   Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $350.00  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2457583##
