My story

If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Adoptions are closed until 8/18/25 as our coordinator is unavailable. You may still submit applications, and they will be reviewed starting Monday afternoon, 1/18. Thank you for understanding Meet Ant Tonio! This sweet boy started his journey as a stray alongside his brother, Spud the Speed Ant. After a stop at the shelter, Ant Tonio made his way to us—and now he’s neutered, safe, and ready to find his forever home.   Ant Tonio can be a little shy at first, but a few tasty treats and some kind words go a long way. Once he warms up, his gentle personality shines through. He would do best in a home with teenage kids or older who can respect his need for a soft and steady approach.   He does well in small dog playgroups and seems to enjoy canine company at a calm pace. As far as cats go, he hasn’t been exposed, so we’re not sure how he’d do around them.   If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to feel safe, Ant Tonio might be your perfect match.   Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $250.00  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2457584##
