My story

Meet Pawley, a super handsome 1.5 year old neutered male wire terrier mix, weighing about 45 lbs!  This scruffy guy is very friendly and is good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. He is very good natured and gets along with everyone. He is an energetic boy who would love a fenced in yard of his own and maybe a doggo sibling to keep him company! He loves to throw a ball or stuffy up in the air and chase it all over! How could you not fall in love with this sweet boy?! Pawley is medically up to date and housebroken. He does have a bit of separation anxiety and is not a fan of the crate, so he would do best with someone who works from home or who can take their dog to work with them. Apply to meet this sweet boy today! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
