I'm Rutgers, and I’m a bit on the shy side at first, but I promise I warm up once I get to know you and my new surroundings. I like to take my time, observing everything around me before I dive into anything headfirst. I’m all about the slow and steady approach, so I’ll appreciate it if you let me take my time settling in. When I do get comfortable, watch out—I'm all about playtime! I can get pretty energetic and playful when I'm in the mood, and I can really go for it, running, chasing, and pouncing like it’s my favorite thing in the world (because it kind of is!). I think I’d do well in a home with older children who understand that I need a little time to adjust. Once I trust you, I’ll be your best buddy! I’m not so sure about dogs though, so it might take some time for me to figure that out. But give me a little space, some patience, and lots of love, and we’ll be a great match!
