Meet Bruno, the Skinny Dipping Champion Ready for His Forever Home! Fostering In Danville Virginia Bruno has one rule in life: no day is too serious for a splash. When he first came into foster care, he was a little shy, but the moment he discovered the pool, everything changed. He tiptoed up, sniffed the water, and with one silly splash, he was in—ears flopping, paws paddling, and a grin as big as Texas. Bruno believes wholeheartedly in the sign on his pool: “Skinny Dipping is Highly Encouraged.” And trust us, he takes it seriously. His favorite days are the ones when he can hop in for a morning swim, then hop back out to follow you around for belly rubs and a treat before hopping back in again. He’s the lifeguard you never knew you needed—always keeping an eye on you while trying to convince you to toss a toy or join him for a dip. At about 1 year old and fully vetted, Bruno is the perfect mix of goofy puppy energy and gentle cuddle buddy. He loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a dog sibling who enjoys playtime as much as he does. Bruno is also crate trained, house-trained, and learning leash manners like a champ. Bruno’s dream day in his forever home would include: 🏊 A morning splash in a baby pool or water hose fun. 🍗 Breakfast with his family, followed by a nap in the sun. 🚶‍♀️ A walk to sniff all the things, greeting neighbors with tail wags. 🛋️ Ending the day curled up next to you while you watch your favorite show. This sweet boy has been through a lot to get to this point, but you wouldn’t know it from his joyful, loving nature. He is ready to give his forever family endless smiles, wet kisses, and a reason to laugh every single day.
