My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lilly arrived on July 11th as an owner surrender. She is a 1 year old shih tzu/cavalier mix with a very unique brindle coat. Lilly's owner loved her very much and was very good to her but she had to work long hours and felt that Lilly needed and deserved more time with someone. Lilly has been fully vetted and her fee is $150. Lilly is a honey of a girl and is very loving. She really needs a home in which she will be someone's special someone and in which she won't be left alone a lot. She has lived with older kids and cats and has done well with other dogs. She will require regular grooming to prevent matting. She is also a younger dog and will require regular exercise. She's a beautiful soul. We do think she would do best in an adult only home or one with kids over 10. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
