My story

Meet Spice, a three and a half month old Pit/Lab mix weighing around 25 pounds.Spice is a sweet and spunky pup with a heart as big as her paws! She and her sister Sugar were found chained up at a homeless encampment without food or water, but you’d never guess it from her joyful spirit and endless tail wags. Spice had an abscess that has since been treated and she is recovering well.This big puppy is a total wiggle worm who’s always ready to play, explore, and make new friends. Spice is incredibly friendly and outgoing—she wants to say hi to everyone she meets! She’s still growing into her paws and her personality, but she’s already bursting with love and potential.If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate puppy to share your adventures (and your couch), Spice is ready to bring the sweetness into your life! Please remember that Spice is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be.This pet is available for adoption on 7/4/2025 at 4:26 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
