My story

Meet Russell!!Russell is a 7-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a lively spirit and a heart full of love. He was found as a stray and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed. Since arriving, we’ve learned that Russell does well with other dogs and enjoys their company. However, we don’t know how he does with cats or younger children, and we’re unsure if he’s house or crate trained. Russell still has a bit of energy for his age, so a home with kids over the age of 12 would likely be the best fit. With his friendly nature and playful personality, Russell is ready to bring joy to a home that can match his zest for life. Russell is HEART WORM NEGATIVE, UP TO DATE on vaccinations, and weighs 47 pounds.Russell's Adoption fee is a NO CHARGE FEE. He is also partially sponsored by PAWS IN LYON COUNTYDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
