Meet Reggie: Your New Oversized Lap Accessory Hey there, I’m Reggie — 60(ish) pounds of pure love muffin packed into a body that thinks it's made of marshmallows. I’m a 3-year-old Boxer mix, and yes, I absolutely believe I am a lap dog. If you sit, I sit... on you. If you lie down, I spoon. If you need personal space, I am not the dog for you. I’m uber friendly — like, "make friends with the mail carrier, delivery driver, and that squirrel I saw one time" friendly. If you’re breathing, I probably love you. If you’re not breathing, I’ll wait patiently and love you later. I’m the total package: -Big goofy grin -Wiggly butt -World-class cuddler - Motivated by snacks and belly rubs -Expert in giving “the eyes” until you scoot over and make room I love people, and I’m ready to be your giant cuddle bug, walking buddy, and full-time best friend. So go ahead, say it out loud: “I need Reggie in my life.” Because let’s be honest — your lap has been too empty for too long. Available now. Big heart included. Batteries not required. If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list. Ask about adoption transportation assistance if you do not live in the local area. The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, a bordetella vaccination and are dewormed.
