***LOCAL ADOPTER (within 50 miles of Apex, NC) ONLY! This dog still has to be spayed at our parrtner vet in Apex, NC!*** Meet Carla: The Playful Pup with a Big Heart (and Bigger Opinions!) Hi, I’m Carla! I’m about 6 months old, 30 pounds of wiggle and sunshine, and I rock a yellow-and-white coat that’s just as bright as my personality. I’m a mixed breed mystery, but one thing’s for sure—I’m 100% lovable. I had a little skin issue when I arrived (nothing serious—just trying out my flaky phase), but it’s clearing up nicely. I haven’t been spayed yet, but I’m up for belly rubs and vet visits alike. I’m a bundle of energy who lives for playtime. Once I’ve finished zooming around, I like to pause for a bathroom break—but sometimes I forget I’m supposed to go outside. It’s a work in progress, okay? Let’s just say I believe in surprises. I’m very enthusiastic about life—including my foster sister and the mysterious feline “beasts” who tease me from afar. I’m working on playing nicely, but hey, I’ve got spirit! I’ve got great recall (call me, I’m coming!), and I’m gentle with my toys… unless your shoes are nearby. Then they might accidentally get promoted to “chew toy of the week.” I can be a little picky with food when I’m distracted (there’s so much to see!), and I sometimes get really excited when you walk in the door. But if you remind me, I’ll sit like the good girl I’m learning to be and soak up all the cuddles. I’m a pretty submissive sweetheart deep down—just still learning what love and structure feel like. I don’t mind my crate, but sometimes I have opinions about bedtime. I’ll let you know—with gusto.
