My story

***LOCAL ADOPTER (within 50 miles of Apex, NC) NEEDED! This dog still needs to be neutered at the PLR partner vet in Apex!*** Hi there! I’m an 8-month-old Lab mix pup, and if you ask anyone who’s met me, they’ll tell you I’m the sweetest, most lovable boy around. I was lucky enough to be rescued from a shelter, and let me tell you—life outside those walls is so much better! I’m soaking up every moment of love, playtime, and snuggles. I’m a curious pup who likes to know what’s going on around me. I enjoy walks (I’m great on a leash!) and love greeting new friends along the way. I haven’t met a cat yet, but I have a pretty chill personality, so I might just be okay with one. I have a fun doggie friend in my foster home who I love to play with, and I’m also a big fan of the little human I live with—especially when he shares treats and gives me big hugs. I already knew how to “sit” when I arrived (smart, right?), and I’m working hard to learn even more commands. I eat my meals in my crate and I’m still getting used to hanging out in there, but with a little patience and encouragement, I know I’ll get more comfortable. I’m also mostly potty trained—I’m doing well, but I’m still learning the ropes and would love someone patient to keep helping me figure it all out. I am just looking for a family to keep loving me, helping me learn, and giving me a forever home where I can keep being my sweet silly self. Could you be my forever family?
