You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Opal and her sister Diamond were part of a 9 pup litter born to a mother dog in a shelter.  The mom died when they were a week old and KMR took in 2 to a foster home to be raised by hand.  They are being fed every 3 hours until they are able to eat solid food.  Both are sweet and will be available for adoption after 8 weeks to adopters on the ESVA, and lower MD.  Once they are spayed they can be adopted out of the area but we do not adopt to homes more than 2-3 hours from Berlin, MD.  We are still learning about their personalities and will update as we get to know them better.  Puppies are a lot of work and require exercise and training so if you work 10 hours daily they are probably not a good choice for you. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 15, 2025, 9:00 am
