Hershey! Playful Little Dude!

My story

Meet our super happy and playful dude named Hershey! Hershey is about 3 years old and he came to our shelter after he was found roaming in town. He is a very energetic dog who has a puppy personality. Hershey loves to run around outside in our backyard getting the zoomies. Once he is tired, he will roll over for a belly rub and cuddle time. He can get a little mouthy when he is excited. Hershey would love an active home that can keep him busy. He likes squeaky toys and will carry them around outside. Hershey likes other dogs and could live with a doggie sibling. He is much too interested in cats to live with them. Hershey can go to a home with children 12 years old and older who have dog experience. If you are interested in adopting Hershey, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
