My story

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on June 27, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Orion! This handsome 2-year-old is searching for a fresh start. Orion came to us as a stray, so we're still getting to know him - and he's still learning how to navigate the world around him. Orion can struggle with impulsivity and arousal and is particular about how he's handled, so he's looking for a calm, experienced home that can help set boundaries and build trust. His world - and his household - should stay small and consistent to help him thrive. Because of his sensitivities, any children in the home must be 12 or older. We don't know how Orion feels about cats, but he has shown some interest in other dogs during his time here. A check-in with our Behavior & Training team is required before adoption to ensure a successful transition for everyone. Orion is ready to start the next chapter of his life. Interested?
