My story

How this pet arrived: Basil was brought in by their previous owner on September 5th, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Basil! Like her name suggests, Basil adds just the right flavor to your life - a dash of sass, a sprinkle of snuggles, and a whole lot of love. She adores pets and cuddles, is crate trained, and (mostly) tolerates spa days... though baths aren't exactly her favorite seasoning. She's a little shy at first, so let her warm up at her own pace - trust us, she's worth the wait. Got guests? Let Basil come to them when she's ready. Got shoes? Maybe hide them when you head out - she's been known to get a little mischievous. This clever girl has pulled a dig-and-dash under the fence before, so yard time = supervised time! She's used to having her own yard and is still learning how to walk politely on leash. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with a pinch of mischief and a whole bunch of heart, Basil is the perfect recipe! At SDHS:Basil has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.
