My story

Meet Poncho! 10-year-old Poncho was brought to the San Diego Humane Society by his former owners, who requested that he be euthanized because he seemed "depressed." Fortunately, the compassionate team at SDHS refused to give up on him and accepted Poncho as a surrender instead. We welcomed this sweet senior into our Frosted Faces family on July 15th, and he has been nothing but pure joy ever since! Poncho is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn more about him in a home setting while he enjoys lots of TLC. His Fling Mom reports: "This distinguished and handsome senior man is secretly a HUGE snuggle bug that LOVES giving kisses! Poncho's favorite past time would probably be cozying up on the couch with his snoot and exactly one paw on your leg. He is great meeting new people and enjoys giving new friends free kisses! Poncho loves frequent walks and is always excited to join you on your adventures outside the home, "Let me go with you!" and when he walks, his ears flop adorably with each footstep. He is great both off-leash and on-leash around other dogs and meets all doggos with courtesy like a true gentleman would. Poncho comes equipped with an adorable "Beggar" trick. Ask him to sit with a treat in your hand and he will gladly pose on his hind legs for you!" Stay tuned for the full report on Poncho's Fling!
