My story

Ziggy Roo is a 1-year-old, 19-pound Miniature Poodle with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. He was found as a stray during a rainstorm, trying to stay dry on someone’s porch. Since arriving at CAMO Rescue and receiving a fresh groom and some much-needed TLC, Ziggy has truly blossomed into the sweet, affectionate pup he was always meant to be. Ziggy gets along well with everyone he meets and, despite his young age, is very respectful when meeting other dogs. He enjoys being around people and is usually calm for his age—but don’t be surprised by a few playful puppy bursts every now and then! He’s currently working on his potty training and leash skills and making steady progress. With consistency and patience, he’ll have them down in no time. Ziggy isn’t a fan of being crated and will let you know with a few barks, so a home where he doesn’t need to be crated for long periods would be ideal. This adaptable little guy would thrive in just about any home—whether he’s joining another friendly dog, becoming a new sibling to kids, or soaking up all the love as the only pet. Adoption fee is: $450 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
