Lily #5661

My story

Lily is an 8 year old, 60ish lb, female Golden Retriever being surrendered to GRRAND as we are told: "We are moving and unable to bring our animals and honestly we've had so much going on the last couple years we haven't been able to give them the attention they need. Lily is bonded with her sister Lola who is a 7 year old, 60ish lb, female Golden Retriever, as they have been together since Lola was a puppy and are to be adopted together.  Lily gets whiney and a little shakey when there is a thunderstorm and she likes to chew, as long as she has a hard chew toy she is happy. She is a very loving dog and is a big cuddler. Lily does smile, it looks like a snarl at first but it is a smile!" Lily is looking for a family that is committed to giving her the exercise, love and direction she needs to help in her transition into a new home. She is house-trained and crate-trained, but has not needed it since she was a puppy, so has full run of the house. She gets along well with other dogs, is said to have lived with a cat (GRRAND has not cat tested her), and has spent too much time outside.
