Meet Valor!Valor is many things but, most of all, he is a silly goose extraordinaire 🪿Valor is a one year old lab/great pyrenees mix who weighs about 90lbs. Now, while he's a big boy, he's also a big baby. The biggest baby to ever baby. He's an outgoing social butterfly that loves hanging out with people and meeting strangers so that they can become more people that he can hang out with. When he's not rolling around on his back begging for belly rubs, he's a novice burglar in his spare time; he can and will make off with an entire bag of treats if you're not looking. He's also an escape artist. He can climb fences. Even with the coyote rollers at the top. He doesn't go far and kind of just wanders off to find the nearest person but still. Probably not a good idea to leave him outside unsupervised. Which is fine because he would much rather you be outside with him throwing a ball around for him to chase or letting him roll around in the grass. Valor and his brother, Hero, were surrendered to us because they are livestock dogs that...didn't do very well with livestock. At least not chickens. They were fine with the bigger livestock but weren't exactly a fan of chickens. Everyone has their thing and their thing just happened to be chickens. Now, we would prefer that Valor was the only animal in the home but he would probably do well with the right dog. We are not placing him with cats at this time due to his history with chickens and the fact that he's 90lbs but thinks that he's 9lbs. Similarly, we are looking for a home with kids 12+. Breed experience is preferred but not required and we would SAY that a fenced in yard is preferred but honestly a fence isn't going to keep Valor in anyway so it is what it is. He's one of the quieter dogs in our kennels right now and doesn't have much to say but that could absolutely change once he's in his forever home.To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application.
