My story

Meet Boba!Boba is a four year old chihuahua mix weighing just over ten pounds. Boba's story is heartbreaking. Due to no fault of his own, and due to absolutely no fault of his family, he has lost everything. His family. His home. The life he knew. His family adored him. You can tell in the way that he WANTS to connect with people, he WANTS to put himself out there, he KNOWS what it's like to be loved and he wants that love again...but he's so confused and so afraid that he just doesn't know how. Boba is going to need someone with time and patience, someone who WANTS to put in the work. He would probably do best with a single person or with a couple, in an adult-only home. He's shown that he's curious about other dogs and has even given a little tail wag when he sees them but some dogs are just too exuberant and bouncy for him but the right mellow dog would probably be fine. Dog-friendly cats would also be fine. Boba walks well on a leash once you get him going. He hasn't shown much interest in toys or treats but we're hoping that will change once he settles in. If you have time and patience and a whole lot of love to give and you're willing to work with a heartbroken little guy just looking for a safe place to land, please consider coming to meet Boba.
