We are currently on a trip up through Northern California and Oregon, and have our sweet Allie with us. Her potentioal new home fell through on the way up here sadly so we decided to share her with all of you in hopes we may find an adopter along the way. If not, we will have another trip throughout NorCal, OR and surrounding states leaving the first week of August that she can be added to for the right family 😊 Meet our sweet girl Allie ❤️She was born on 1/27/25. She is almost 6 months of age. She weighed around 7 lbs at her last check up and is estimated to be around 10-12 lbs full grown. She has received 3 sets of her parvo vaccine, 2 sets of her Bordetella, and her rabies vaccine. Our vet is recommending one more set of her parvo vaccine. If she is still with us and hasn't found a home by the time it's due then we will make sure it's taken care of. She is microchipped, had a fecal test sent to the lab to test for worms, and was dewormed based on the results of that test. She had an overall wonderful exam with our vet, whom has sent home a health certificate for her to be given to her new adopting family. She is not yet spayed, as it's best for her to reach full maturity prior to sterilization so she will be going home on a spay contract. Aside from that she has been cleared to find a home all her own 💕 She is doing VERY well with potty training as we just begun the process of being able to take her outside after receiving her 3rd set of the parvo vaccine. She has been acclimated to puppy pads, so understands them. She is very excited to be able to potty outside, so we have been encouraging her as we would much rather have her going outside to potty than use potty pads, but her health was of utmost importance making sure her immunity was strong enough and protected through the vaccines she has received since with us here. It's been a process but she is ready to take on the world and we couldn't be happier to lead the way for her 😊 She is crate trained, and has done phenomenal in the crate when we have had her in there whether to sleep in at night or to nap in during the day. However she has been doing amazing out of the crate too and has learned the comfort of a bed outside of the crate, so if you would prefer to have her in her own bed, or in bed with you she will happily love that as well ❤️ Leash training hasn't begun yet, as she is still waiting for her last vaccine to be complete so that's the one area of training that will need to be started in her next home. She listens well and enjoys being with her human which will make leash training easy to do with her. She loves men, women, and children alike. She is a sweetheart of a girl and doesn't care who you are as long as you are kind to her, and come with arms ready for her to snuggle in instantly becoming her friend for life! She is AMAZING with dogs, and cats alike. She LOVES to play and will happily join another sweet friend in life you have one already at home but will equally love becoming the princess of her next home too if she is the only girl in your life so rest assured her happiness isn't hard to meet as she is HAPPY just being a part of YOUR life, anything else is just icing on the cake for her ❤️ She is very well behaved, and while she is a puppy at heart she loves to hang out and just chill. She enjoys being in your lap getting belly and ear rubs, especially if you are watching your fave show with her. She has appeared to really love and focus in on the tv when on 😂 so finding a good show for both of you would be a good way to end just about any evening and guaranteed she will provide snuggles all the way through 🙃 She is not a barker, and rarely uses her voice for anything. She is very quiet, and overall very serene tempered. She is naturally playful, but but in a very calm and sweet way. She isn't overbearing whatsoever, and has been an absolute joy to have in out care as she has been a dream pup from the moment she came in. She was ready to be a part of our lives and we are now confident she is ready to be a part of her own person/families life now moving forward 💓 She is amazing on road trips, of any length. Whether around town, or out of town. She is a natural when it comes to riding in the car and is just happy being with her person out of the home. She is wonderful with our groomers, and is perfect on the table with anything that needs to get done. She loves being brushed, which makes upkeep at home in between visits to the groomer a breeze. She is very easy going and has no problem with allowing you or your groomer to take the time you need to doll her up 😍 She came from an older woman who had brought her in as a puppy thinking she would liven up her senior dogs, and add some joy to her home but her seniors didn't take to a younger pup, and it was much more work than her owner realized as her girls were 12, and 14 themselves. It was just a careless decision on her owner's end taking in such a young pup and not thinking things through all the way so they reached out to us to take her in and find her the best home for her so here we are ♥️ Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/allie-1Allie 💕 It covers her vaccines, deworming through our vet by the findings of a fecal test we had sent to the lab, her microchip, and her exam with our vet along with the health certificate that is going home with her. It also goes into the months of care, socialization, grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her 💕
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Allie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
