My story

Champ is a 2 year old male Beagle mix who is a wonderful gentleman and true sweetheart! He has many of the traits that make his breed so popular as family pets … friendly, affectionate, and happiest when he is around people. Champ recently spent time with a volunteer and her grandchild, showing that he also seems good with children. He loves going on walks and especially meeting people along the way, which seems just as enjoyable to him as the physical exercise. Social and loving, Champ is the kind of dog who will form strong bonds with his future family and stay loyally by their side. All he needs now is the chance to meet them. With his warm personality and soulful eyes, Champ is ready to become a beloved part of your life. Be sure to see him soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
