My story

***LOCAL ADOPTER (within 50 miles of Apex, NC) NEEDED! This dog still has to be spayed at our partner vet in Apex, NC!*** Hey, I’m Gracie and I’m ready to be your new best friend! I have the sweetest face and even sweeter personality (at least that’s what everyone keeps telling me!). I absolutely LOVE people—especially kids! I’m super gentle with them and just want to be where the family fun is. I should be honest with you—I'm not a huge fan of other dogs, so I’m going to need proper introductions or I would really prefer to be your one and only. But hey, more love for you and me, right? I promise I’ll make it worth it with endless cuddles and loyalty. Before I came to my foster home, my world was turned upside down when I was unexpectedly dropped off at a shelter by my previous family. But I’m a hopeful and happy girl and I just know my forever home is out there somewhere! I’m doing amazing with crate training and I’m fully potty trained too. I walk really well on a leash, even though I’m still learning. The whole “walk” thing is kind of new to me, but I’m picking it up fast. I get excited when I hear new sounds or catch new smells, but that’s just because everything is still so fascinating! I get the zoomies sometimes and love to bounce around when I’m excited, but I settle down really nicely and love to snuggle up. Give me a cozy spot and some love and I’m all yours. Oh—and I LOVE treats. Cheese is my absolute favorite. Give me a nibble and I’ll sit, stay, and probably learn calculus if you ask me to. I’ve been super easy to train so far because I just want to make my people proud. I’m up-to-date on vaccines and ready to go home with you today. If you adopt me, you're not just giving me a home—you’re truly saving my life. I’ll never stop being grateful, and I’ll love you forever.
