My story

Fennec is the perfect mix of cuddly and independent. If you're looking for a buddy that loves attention but won't beg for it or follow you around all day, Fennec is your boy. He is happy to spend the entire day lounging on something soft or in front of a window, but will lovingly accept affection whenever you're around. He is a conditional lapcat; what those conditions are, I don't know! He also occasionally likes to lay on my desk while I'm trying to work or play, I'm sure he would love to have a little bed set up next to your workplace. Fennec loves to play and would benefit from daily activity. He particularly likes string and string-adjacent toys. He loves to give chase! Once he's done, he will tumble to his side and watch you flail around a toy like a fool. Fennec has always been an indoor cat but I've found that he really enjoys being outside. He has adapted very quickly to a harness and I have let him out into my backyard for 20ish minutes at a time. Caution, he is extremely curious and will absolutely walk away if you're not watching him. I think he would be a great candidate for walking on a leash, I may start training him for that. Nothing phases Fennec! He loves to be around people, new or familiar, and he likes to be near the action, particularly the kitchen. The only time I've seen him a bit nervous was during a pretty heavy thunderstorm, and all he did was lay under my bed.
