My story

Meet Dexter! Dexter is a little ball of fluff with a motor that never stops—he purrs like it’s his full-time job (and honestly, he’s Employee of the Month). He’s incredibly friendly and loves everyone he meets—humans, cats and DOGS. Dexter lives for snuggles and will happily melt in your arms like warm butter on toast. If you're looking for a best friend who fits in one hand but fills your whole heart, Dexter is your guy. Dexter currently lives with cats and dogs, and thinks he's a fellow dog. Adopters have 30 days of free access to 1-on-1 text and email support from behaviorists at Petcademy to help make every pet's transition into their new home as smooth as possible. All cats available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, microchipped and are current on all vaccinations. Please email cats@henricohumane.org for more information.
