My story

Hi! I just arrived! My foster pawrents are getting to know me and will add more info soon. Amaya (Ella) has been with her foster family for only a few short days and is already coming out of her shell! She is great on the leash and sleeps soundly through the night. She's still growing her confidence with navigating the stairs, but with lots of patience and praise she's been overcoming her fear!  Amaya loves to say hello to everyone in the neighborhood and is happy to greet house guests. We're still learning how she is with other dogs, but it seems that she prefers a calmer dog to match her laid back personality. Personality & Characteristics: Amaya (Ella) is a smart and sweet dog with a calm demeanor. She loves people and is happy to say hi to anyone and everyone! She's growing her confidence with the stairs. Once she masters that, we believe she can be fully house trained My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, kids, cats) Still learning about this My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed) Moderate shedding, not crate trained, 80% house trained (gives cues that she needs to use the bathroom but still not confident in stairs. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
