My story

FLUFFY - A36893892 - RESCUE / FOSTER / ADOPT with behavior waiver Intake: Owner Surrender on 10/23 (Owner Allergy). Breed/Color: DSH Black and White Tux Age: 2 years Sex/Alter Status: Spayed Female Weight: 5 lb Behavior Observation: Hissy and asocial in kennel. Personality: Poor Fluffy! This little lady was found in a trash can by her former owner. This owner happily kept Fluffy for a year until her son started to develop an allergy to her and now she's stuck in the shelter until she can find a new home. Her old family described her as "loves to be around children, and "loves all people. Overall she's described as being a friendly cat in the home. Poor Fluffy is just not as happy in the shelter though and she is in a special area where we can monitor her behavior. When we approached her in her kennel she was unwilling to come out her box and put her ears back in a defensive state. She was easily redirected by a toy though. This cat is likely terrified of this environment after living in a home for a year. She is otherwise perfectly healthy and just needs the right person or rescue to take their time with her.
