My story

Luigi is a sweet 4-month-old black and white Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs 20 pounds (and growing). This handsome boy has incredibly soft ears and a gorgeous, sleek, shiny coat that makes him completely irresistible.   Luigi is crate trained and is working on house training—he’s a smart little guy who will need a lot of love as he grows. He has a great time playing with toys and has a funny habit of "borrowing" them (along with the occasional blanket out of his crate) to carry around the house like treasures. His playful personality and gentle disposition is sure to keep you smiling. One of the cutest things he does is "wave" at you. He uses his paws to get your attention and it's super duper cute.   Though he can be a bit shy at first, Luigi warms up quickly and becomes a total cuddlebug. He often asks for a boost to get up on to the sofa with his foster mom to relax and watch TV.   Luigi will need to be neutered and be kept on his puppy vaccination schedule. He’s looking for a patient, loving home to help guide him through life and give him all the affection he deserves. Looking for a sweet, silly, and snuggly best friend? The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **  July 25, 2025, 6:08 pm
