We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs on to their new adopting families leaving the beginning of August 2025 from Southern California where we are located to the East Coast. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Lacey to our trip for the right home 💕 As always, for peace of mind for our adopting families we never ask for ANYTHING up front. Adoption fee/travel costs are always due when we arrive in person with Lacey in hand ❤️ Meet our beautiful girl Lacey. She is a goldendoodle weighing in at 45 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a healthy weight. She has the poodle coat, which means it's hypoallergenic and won't shed 😊She turns 3 years of age on 12/24/25. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning at time of her spay, and had an overall great exam with our vet whom has cleared her to find home all her own ❤️ She is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom every 4 hours or so. She is very patient, and has never asked to go out between us asking her. I believe she likes knowing she is cared for so leaves the asking to us 🙃 She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night. She understands “crate,” “lay down”, or “bedtime.” She sleeps through the whole night peacefully and os always excited to see you in the morning. She is more than ready to be in a bed in your room, or even in bed with you if you prefer her to be (and have the space of course!) but she has been so comfortable sleeping in her crate that we have continued it but that doesn't mean she would t be up for a change in her next home! She is wonderful with other dogs, and will run and play with them but equally loves just hanging out and enjoying time with her human. She isn't your high energy doodle either and while she has the energy to keep up she also just really loves slowing down and enjoying life just the way it is in that moment. She is a easy going, go with the flow, happy just being with you kind of girl so whatever your life looks like whether you have other sweet friends for her to join in life, or it's just you I'm confident Lacey will come in and be happy regardless just knowing she is part of a family all her own finally ☺️ She is not a barker but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. She listens quickly and is always ready to let you take over. She is very focused on her person, and wants to please them so takes your guidance very serious! She is wonderful on road trips around town, and has enjoyed getting out and seeing the world around her and while we haven't had her on long trips I'm sure she would love them equally making adventures that much more fun to journey out on 😊 She is wonderful with our groomers and enjoys getting all dolled up. She really enjoys having a shorter coat especially in the summer as she loves sun bathing, or hanging out by the pool. She is beautiful when her coat comes back in, and doesn't mind it whatsoever when cooler months come along. She is very sweet with everyone she meets, a little shy at first but once she is your friend she is your friend for life. She is one that will always lay close by you in the home, always patiently waiting to see what you'll do next. She is always ready for morning, midday, or evening snuggles so making time for them must be on your daily agenda! Her prior owner recently went through a divorce leaving a lot of things in the air moving forward including their living situation and didn't want Lacey to go through any of it with her so she asked us to take her in and give her the stability she deserved to have again, and find her the home her heart ached for so here we are ❤️ Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/lacey-2 It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, dental cleaning, antibiotic injection given to aid in the healing of her spay and dental cleaning, along with her exam with our vet. It also goes back into the months of care, grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lacey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
