My story

Meet Beau. This is what Beau's owner had to say about him. This handsome little guy is a five-year-old Cocker Spaniel full of love, personality, and just the right amount of goofiness. With his soft caramel-colored coat and soulful eyes, he’s as charming on the outside as he is on the inside. He’s house-trained, gets along well with other dogs, though we think he’d thrive best as the only dog in the home, or with just one calm companion. This boy loves the outdoors — running around a yard, chasing birds, sniffing every leaf, and even splashing in the water are some of his favorite ways to spend the day. He’s also a world-class people watcher, always curious and alert, and he will let you know with a bark if something seems off. When he’s not outside exploring, he’s the ultimate cuddle buddy who adores belly rubs and being close to his humans. He’s playful, goofy, and affectionate — truly a joy to have around. He does great with grooming and bath time and is always a good boy at the groomers. Leash training is still a work in progress — he’s just a little too excited to explore! But with time, patience, and some extra walks, we know he’ll get the hang of it. While we love him dearly, we feel he deserves a home where he has more space, ideally with a yard, and someone who can give him the attention, love, and time he truly deserves.
