My story

Looking for a loyal, loving companion who's as sweet as he is playful? Say hello to Barney, a 3 year old, 25 lb terrier mix. This amazing pup is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and endless tail wags into your life. Barney loves to play with toys and especially enjoys a good chew, so he will need some sturdy ones. Fair warning: if you leave a shoe or slipper within reach, he may just claim it as his next plaything! He sleeps through the night on a dog bed, but would be more than happy to snuggle in bed with you if allowed! He is working on his leash manners and does pretty well when using a harness. He's not a huge fan of being crated, but with a little patience, he settles down. Barney gets along with the other small dog in his foster home, but he would be fine as an only dog too. He is happiest when he is close to his people. Barney has heartworms because he was not kept on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for his treatment with our partner vet.
