My story

When Jody and his sister (already adopted) were first seen they were roaming the streets with their mother and siblings. It took some time to trap them. Unfortunately the 3rd sibling was hit by a tractor trailer and passed away and the mother and a 4th dog were never seen again.  This is the hard reality of dog rescue in the south.  So many dogs are abandoned and wandering around looking for food and shelter and many of them don't survive. When Jody first came to us, he was very skinny and had very bad skin, but thanks to good food and proper veterinary care Jody is now healthy and ready to go home. He loves attention - especially when he is being pet, and he would love to sleep in bed with you.  He's a playful boy who enjoys playing with squeaky toys.  He's also good with other dogs. He is a bit shy at first but will warm up once he feels safe.  The best home for Jody will be a home with a lot of love and patience to give.  Jody has been fostered in TX long enough. He would love to find his family and go home somewhere in the NJ area!! Personality: loves attention, playful, a bit shy at first Good with: people of all ages (including kids), and dogs.  Has not been cat tested yet.
