My story

DOB: January 1st, 2022 Dima is a sweet and confident young cat with a playful personality and a strong desire to be near her people. She’s not a lap cat, but she loves attention, enjoys being picked up for a quick hug, and will happily follow you from room to room. Wherever you are, Dima wants to be too. She has lots of energy and enjoys zooming through her tunnel at top speed, watching birds from the window, and giving head bumps to anyone willing to accept them. She has a loud, happy purr and a calm, affectionate nature. Dima gets along fine with other calm cats, but she’s not looking for feline friendships—just respectful cohabitation (and no sharing of toys, please). She thrives in an environment where she can have space, structure, and human interaction. Originally rescued from the streets of Bahrain, Dima made a long journey to Toronto in search of a better life. She arrived in the care of Toronto Cat Rescue, where she’s continued to blossom in foster care. Dima is: • Friendly with new people and environments • Energetic, curious, and affectionate • Independent but enjoys company • A great work-from-home buddy who always wants to be nearby She’s a resilient, good-natured cat who will make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a playful, social cat with a gentle spirit.
