My story

Meet Rome! Rome is a 5-month-old, 23-pound (as of 8/2) Puggle mix with an irresistibly sweet personality and puppy charm to spare. This little guy is already winning hearts everywhere he goes—he’s playful, curious, and absolutely adorable (just ask anyone who’s met him). Rome is great with people of all ages, from kids to seniors, and he’s friendly with both dogs and cats. He's made fast friends with pups he’s met on the street and has even started making peace with the resident cats—though he's still figuring them out, one staring contest at a time. As a puppy, Rome is in learning mode and soaking up the world around him. He’s crate trained, house trained, and is getting the hang of leash walking. He's eager to learn and thrives on attention and gentle guidance. He doesn’t guard resources and is already learning how to share like a pro. Rome loves his toys and can keep himself entertained, but he’s just as happy snuggling up for a cuddle. He’s a playful, adaptable pup who enjoys walks, the outdoors, and even public transportation—he’s already a seasoned city traveler, comfortable riding the subway, bus, and even snoozing in the car. Elevators and stairs were once intimidating, but he’s gaining confidence every day. He’s also got a refined palate—Rome is a fan of mangoes, blueberries, cantaloupe, peaches, carrots, and broccoli… but hold the bananas, please. With his sweet demeanor, joyful energy, and willingness to learn, Rome is shaping up to be a wonderful lifelong companion.
