My story

Howdy! My name is King! I’m a handsome gentleman and I have a smile so bright you'll need sunglasses! My caregivers do not know much about my past, because I was found wandering with Queen. I’m ready for endless adventures, playtime, and naps in my very own bed. Maybe I should tell you a bit about myself first! I’m fully potty-trained. I’ve previously lived with dogs but would like to meet any of your furry friends before going home. Do I sound like your new best friend? Come by High Country Humane to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
