My story

She arrived at the care centers as a stray with little known history. However, it was reported that Rain was sedated by ESU with no further details provided. Upon intake she was neutral bodied and allowed handling. Throughout her stay she has been observed to have a tense body, tucked tail, and is avoidant of handlers. Even with a quiet room, in kennel, Rain has progressively deteriorated. She has been observed to pace back and forth at the front, while heavily panting, is reported to be bouncing off her kennel walls, jumping and spinning at her kennel door, along with scratching at it while vocalizing. As of late, staff has reported her to be kennel fighting on the way out of the room, pulling into other kennel rooms, and is reactive to pigeons outside. Medically, she is apparently healthy.What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.
