My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online  Adoption Application Meet Groot! Groot is a fabulous boy looking for his forever home. Groot is around 3 years old. He is a wonderful blend of loving cuddles and a fun playmate. He loves to play! His favorite toy is a ball. You can hear him batting it around during the day. He also has a favorite stuffed duck that keeps him entertained. He will also wait around the corner and pounce playfully when you stroll by! He will definitely keep you on your toes. When it is bedtime, he is a total snuggler! Think of him as having a full body pillow! Groot has not met a stranger. Groot is an intelligent cat who is naturally curious and extremely friendly.  Groot does not do well being left alone for long periods. He can become very stressed and will meow until he is hoarse. He needs to go to a home with someone who works from home or is retired. He does not need to be alone for very long periods. Please understand we will be screening several applicants to find the right fit.  Groot has not been dog tested. So, it would be best for him to go to a home without dogs. He seems to do fine with other cats.  Groot does have Feline Herpes. Cats with Feline Herpes can live a normal and long life. Click here to learn more about Feline Herpes. He does have a constant nasal drip. Lysine and other medications can help control Feline Herpes. Stress can cause him to have outbreaks periodically.  Groot is basically the whole package in one. He is loving, playful, attentive, and a snuggler!  Groot's adoption fee is $275.00. This includes spay/neuter, FVRCP Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, Combo test (neg/neg), dewormer, flea prevention, microchip, and wellness visit. Groot is available for adoption within 200 miles of Milledgeville, GA. The adopter should be willing to meet halfway. For more information, please contact Maine Coon Rescue at: adoption@mainecoonrescue.net. DOB (approx): 08/04/2021 Location: Milledgeville, GA 31061 Available for Adoption: NOW   Maine Coon Rescue cannot guarantee the parentage or breed of cats on this site.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  If you cannot adopt at this time, will you please consider a donation to Maine Coon Rescue so we may continue to locate, rescue, provide veterinary care, transport, foster, and facilitate adoptions for our beloved Maine Coon and Maine Coon Mixes?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt GA - Groot (MCR), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
