My story

Mickey is an orange tabby male kitten with boundless energy and an irresistible sense of adventure. Named after the iconic Mickey Mouse, he’s a natural-born leader with a heart full of curiosity and a knack for turning every day into something magical. With his bright orange coat and wide, alert eyes, Mickey is always the first to explore new spaces, investigate sounds, and greet visitors with an enthusiastic meow. He brings a cheerful spark to everything he does, from playful zoomies to cuddly nap sessions.Despite his bold personality, Mickey is incredibly affectionate and thrives on companionship. He loves being in the center of the action, whether it’s wrestling with his siblings or curling up next to you for some quiet time. Mickey’s loyalty and charm shine through in every interaction—he’s the kind of kitten who makes everyone feel like his best friend. Just like his famous namesake, Mickey is full of heart, joy, and a little mischief, making him the perfect companion for any adventure.ADOPTION PACKAGE:Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit card, or money order.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
